Shaking, Kalilah stepped cautiously off the small, cable-car-like ship that had transported him to the station. Glancing behind him, he checked that Lupe was following him before taking a few steps forward on the platform.
At that moment, the blonde felt like his heart had stopped - a large ship had stopped at a dock, and from the decoration it appeared to belong to space pirates. The boy felt a surge of fear go through him. Unless his brother's crew had changed ships, this was a different group altogether.
He stepped back again, grabbing the older male's hand tightly and hoping that these pirates weren't as vicious and harmful as some of the ones he'd heard about. The only escape route was the tiny ship the two had traveled up in, so if these rogues decided they wanted to start something the blonde and his new friend didn't stand a chance...

Lupe gave the boy's hand a squeeze, smiling slightly. He wouldn't go over there himself, this was obviously something the kid wanted to do and he wouldn't ruin a moment if it was with his brother.
"Go on, I'll watch over" He smiled again, nodding and leaning down to the boy's level.
"I won't let anything bad happen, I promise."

Feeling reassured, the blonde nodded. He gave the man beside him a smile and then cautiously pulled his hand away, looking back towards the nearby ship. Someone had just gotten off, and although Kalilah could tell it wasn't his brother it was worth a try.
He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself, and then started walking towards the stranger. It would have been more scary if there were more pirates there, but at the moment it looked like just the one was getting off. Maybe if it was just the one he would be okay...
"Uhm...e-excuse me?" the blonde tried to call out as he got closer, but his voice sounded much weaker than he'd intended. He just hoped the stranger would hear him, because he didn't think he could speak any louder at the moment - it seemed like his voice was rapidly disappearing.

Matya grumbled to herself as always, leaning against the outside of the ship as she waited for the guys to get back. Just because she was a stowaway on their ship didn't mean they could leave her behind. One of them had tried to get her to wash the ship, but he shut up pretty quickly with a sponce in his gob.
Uhm... e-excuse me? The tiny voice almost zoomed right past Matya without her noticing, although a feeling niggling at her caused her to look to the side and notice two kids not too far away. On e seemed to be standing back, not even lookng at her. The youngest of the two closer to her, looking pretty scared. Matya crossed her arms and rolled her eyes slightly.
"What d'ya want kid?" She didn't give the kid a scary look, wondering what they'd do. That and she looked pretty weak so Matya wasn't about to become the men she hated.
"You know we dun like watchers."

Kalilah flinched slightly at the pirate's words. This guy seemed pretty tough, and didn't seem too happy with being confronted...
"I-I know, I'm s-sorry," the blonde stammered. He was still wearing the coat that Lupe had leant him earlier and chose this moment to hold on to it, pulling it around him tightly like some kind of shield, "I d-didn't mean to disturb you, o-or anything, it's just..." he took a short pause, trying to stop himself from shaking, "I was l-looking for someone, and they're a p-pirate, I was wondering if... if you'd know them..."
Feeling slightly lightheaded, he waited for the other guy's response. The blonde could feel his heart pounding in his head and everything was starting to spin slightly, he really hoped he didn't pass out here...

Matya raised another eyebrow slightly, suddenly laughng and knocking on the kids head.
"Not very smart of you to come looking for a pirate now, is it kid" She tried to make herself look slightly scary, but not too much. She just wanted to mess with the kid. Taking a step back again she stretched her arms behind her head and let out a loud breath.
"D'pends on who you're looking for of course. And it ain't free."

As the pirate struck Kalilah he flinched, automatically shielding his head with his arms. It wasn't even a hard hit but he felt tears suddenly welling up in his eyes - from fear more than anything. He glanced behind him quickly to make sure Lupe was still there, wondering if he'd been watching. He was half tempted to run back over there, but they'd come too far to just waste this opportunity...
"I-I know it's not a g-good idea..." The blonde boy wiped his tears quickly, knowing this guy would probably see crying as being weak, "A-and I can pay you, I have money, just t-tell me how much you want. I... it's someone I need to find, r-really badly..."
Struggling to control his shaking now, the child focused on the floor, waiting for the pirate to respond before he considered continuing.

Matya sighed, putting her hands on her hips and shaking her head slightly.
"Like I said kid, it depends on who it is." Matya's eyes drifted over to the redheads too, believing she was safe. She hadn't hit the kid hard and already she was crying. Of course she didn't say anything, only closed her eyes for a few seconds then leant back on the ships side again. She didn't care what she did to the ship, it wasn't hers and she probably wouldn't even be on it for long anymore.

Biting his lip, Kalilah tried hard not to start crying again. If he wanted to be a space pirate with his brother he needed to learn to be strong. Taking a deep breath he looked up at the stranger again. "Ok, I'm looking for a pirate called Malik. Do you know him?" The blonde tried to keep his chin up while asking and waiting for an answer, but this person in front of him was so intimidating it really was difficult.

Matya's smirk grew when she heard the name, she'd listened to the other men in the ship talk about that pirate. He was supposed to be epically good and in her mind that meant a great fight opportunity.
"I'v 'eard of 'im. Why?"

"Um..." Kalilah twirled a lock of blonde hair around his finger, tugging slightly as he tried to muster up the courage to continue talking, "Well, I just want to find him, h-he's my brother..."
The boy glanced back quickly to make sure his companion was still nearby, then focused his attention back on the pirate in front of him.

Matya nodded lazily as the kid spoke, not really taking it in. That was until she heard the word brother. Her smirk grew again, her hand finding it's way onto the kids shoulder.
"Bro, eh? I could 'elp ya, 'guess." She grinned to herself, her way of helping hopefully getting her a fight at some point. Maybe then non of the guys would just think her a weak boy. No, she'd be in charge of them like she should be.

Kalilah flinched slightly as a hand was placed on his shoulder, although the pirate's intentions in doing this didn't seem bad. He couldn't be sure though... Pulling Lupe's jacket around him once again to make sure it didn't fall off (and in an attempt to try and stop himself shaking as much as he was now) he nodded, "Th-thankyou."
The blonde wondered exactly how this guy was going to help (and what he'd want in return), but it was a start and some help was better than none.

Matya smirked, leaning against the ship behind her. It was going to be a lot of fun if and when she did find the kids brother, although she had to find a way to find him first.
"Wan' me to bring 'im back for ya?" She spoke to the kid again, waiting for a response. She didn't know if there was any other way of getting around it but she didn't care that much.
